‘Go to school ntombazana,’ Dr Dada to one of her trolls

Social media is really not for the fainthearted. You could be doing something good, and people will still find a way to bring you down.

Well, Dr Celiwe Dada said not with her own story. For those who remain in the dark about Celiwe, let me shed some light.

Recently, Celiwe took to her TikTok account to share her marriage journey. In her story, she detailed how she found herself in debt, paying R23k monthly for a luxury car that was demanded by her unemployed husband.

She explained that her sharing her story was not because she is hurt; she is doing it to raise awareness and help young girls.

Her story soon reached the streets of Facebook, where we all know people get trolled every day. People shared pictures from her personal page, saying everything they wanted.

She posted a video where she explained that she was okay and that people should not worry. She will take the trolls as they come, but she is fine. Soon after, someone commented under a post she wrote saying “if you are not street smart a degree is useless, and with that degree she was fooled.”

Celiwe did not hesitate to put her in her place. She replied by saying it is because of her degree that she was able to bounce back; she now has a home, can send her kids to good schools and drives a comfortable car.

“This degree is the reason I was able to make my come back,” she wrote.

Sharing the post, she wrote in her caption that when people troll, they should not forget to refer to her as Doctor.

“Babalwa Zizi go to school ntombazana (girl),” She concluded.
