New TikTok kid on the block sings along to ‘Un poco loco’ with his mom

First came Khwezi with ‘amafolokazi’ then came Zulu Boy asking his mother “Why uneslenda”. There is a new toddler making waves on the South African TikTok streets after a clip of him singing along with his mother to the popular ‘un poco loco’ song.

TikTok has become a great place for many people to convene and bask in the richness of South African culture. The app has become a space even for toddlers and young kids to show off different kinds of content, and South Africa has seen various youngsters gain notoriety among the masses not only for their adorableness but also for the niche content that they or their parents provide.

Recently, TikTok user @ntheelefa took to her page to post an adorable clip of her and her toddler son singing along to Un poco loco, a soundtrack from the popular American animated fantasy comedy-drama Coco. This short clip has captured the hearts of countless internet users and has garnered a total of 1.5 million likes and 21.1k comments on the app. It has also been reshared multiple times across multiple platforms, including WhatsApp statuses.

Besides this being an adorable moment between mother and son, users have marvelled at the young boy’s ability to not only harmonise with his mother but also switch tones where necessary. With the song being in Spanish, users have applauded the youngster for his ability to retain the lyrics so well.

“I can’t wait to make a kid that will match my energy,” comments one user.

“Wait a minute… he knows when to change tones. AMAZING… and he sings so well man.” says another.

It appears that the young boy might have a knack for music as his mom has previously posted videos of him impressively playing a traditional drum.
