Dr Celiwe Dada’s story has been making rounds on the internet and many people have been amazed by her story.
Recently, a video shared by the mother of two Celiwe Dada under her TikTok account details how her husband messed up her finances because of status.
Celiwe shared that she and her husband met at a Church they used to attend together, fell in love and got married. Revealing that she had studied medicine, so at the time she was doing her Com-Serve when her husband who owned a barbershop tricked her into buying an expensive car where she paid R15k a month.
This was in 2019, she shared that she had decided to buy them a car as a family as she had already had her first child and was soon to have another one.
In 2021, the car got into a car accident and lucky enough the husband did not die and the insurance paid for everything. Soon after, she suggested they go get a new car which was a lesser price to lower the burden on their shoulders, the husband refused to go with anything besides a Mercedes Benz.
The ex-wife revealed that he said he was not going to downgrade and spoke about how his status is already up there for him to drive a different brand of a car.
The new car costed R23k inclusive of insurance which really put a strain on her financially ending up not showing up for their kids(they had already had their number two).
With her moving to a background room and the husband being left in the city because his status did not allow him to sit in the rural even though it was closer to the wife’s job.
Concluding her story, she shared that they are no longer together and she is now a single mom to her three kids.
The smartest thing she did was to buy the cars in her name.
