DJ, reality show star and famous sangoma, Tumi Motsoeni Shange popularly known as Gogo Skhotheni has reportedly shared a private conversation to her ex husband and father of her children, Monde Shange to let him know that her lobola negotiations are underway.
According to IzindabaZabantu, Gogo shared a screenshot of the WhatsApp conversation between her and Monde on her Instagram Story, alongside pictures of her flashing her wedding ring on the day of her lobola negotiations.
What shocked many is not only her texting Monde on the day of lobola, but her sharing the conversation on Instagram stories for people to see. This act sparked controversy, with some saying that Monde lives rent free on her mind, while some were questioning her intentions with sharing the conversation on social media.
The screenshot was shared after the renowned sangoma wrote on her Instagram story that the first lobola negotiations did not take this long, and she’s nervous that the negotiations may not go as planned. On the second slide she shared the conversation, on the screenshot shared, Gogo told Monde that she is getting married, and is in the room as they speak, because the negotiations are underway. She did not reveal the name of the new husband to Monde, when he expressed shock, Gogo said “Amaphupho ayafezeka (dreams come true).”
