Salah will seal first Slot trophy

Liverpool’s Egyptian king Mohamed Salah will put PSG behind him and fire the Reds to Carabao Cup glory, writes DYLAN JOHNSON.

Writing for Soccermag, Dylan explains Liverpool have no time to dwell on Champions League disappointment. Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Newcastle presents the perfect opportunity for redemption, and there is no doubt who will lead the charge, Mohamed Salah.

Mohamed is enjoying the best season of his career, with 32 goals and 22 assists in 42 games. He dominates both the Premier League’s goal and assist charts, proving he is not just Liverpool’s talisman but the league’s standout performer. With Trent Alexander-Arnold injured, the creative burden will fall entirely on him.

Newcastle’s defensive struggles only add to Liverpool’s advantage. Without key players like Anthony Gordon and Sven Botman, the Magpies could struggle to contain Mohamed, who has already dismantled them twice this season. On Sunday, expect the Egyptian King to once again deliver when Liverpool need him most.
