South African actor and comedian Thomas Gumede has won an international award for his film ‘Family and Rugby’ at India’s Krimson Horyzon International Film Festival.
Now in its third year, the IMDb-qualified festival highlights emerging talent and celebrates independent cinema from around the world.
In a heartfelt post, Thomas shared his excitement, saying: “So grateful for another international festival win in India for ‘Family and Rugb’y! I will always give my all to any story that I tell, but the most amazing projects happen when everyone gives their everything, and I’ve been blessed to have that on all my sets. We never shoot thinking ‘ja let’s go get these international awards’ because each day’s achievements on set is enough reward!”
He went on to thank the cast and crew for their dedication.
