Mihlali Ndamase’s latest visit to popular Turkish dental clinic sparks body dysmorphia chats

Influencer and digital content creator Mihlali Ndamase can’t seem to catch a break, every move she makes rubs somebody the wrong way. Recently, the popular figure has drawn the attention of concerned internet users after revealing her latest trip to a popular Turkish dental clinic.

For a while, Mihlali Ndamase boasted of being one of the major “it girl” content creators that you either loved or envied, serving top-quality content that had her supporters and haters glued to their screens anticipating what was coming next. That was until scandals, including affairs with married men, tainted the young influencer’s image and reputation, causing a recognisable shift in her interactions across various social media platforms, especially X (formerly Twitter).

Recently, the Fashion Nova ambassador took to her social media to reveal that she and her mother had re cently hopped on a plane to visit the popular Prime Dental Clinic in Turkey, which has had the pleasure of working with various prominent South African figures such as Bongani Zungu and his partner Cindy Mahlangu.

As always, her posts were migrated from Instagram to X where she previously had to deactivate her account as the backlash and negative attitude towards her proved to be too much with users having much to say regarding her latest enhancements to her smile. These users have expressed concern for Mihlali’s mental health, as they look to frame potential body dysmorphia as the culprit to blame for what they believe is the influencer’s excessive body enhancements.

According to these users Beyonce made valid points when she said “It’s the soul that needs the surgery” in her smash hit Pretty Hurts. They believe that Mihlali’s original dental situation did not need any kind of enhancement. This has led them to believe that the content creator will fall into the common trap of not ever being satisfied with the way she looks, despite embodying the societal standards of what is considered a gorgeous woman.

According to these users, therapy is Mihlali’s best bet as they acknowledge the serious effects and repercussions that issues like these have on people, particularly prominent figures like herself.
