When it comes to reality TV, particularly anything to do with love and money, no one does it like South Africans and Mzansi Magic’s The Catch is set to be no different. The highly anticipated dating show is here and is showing the world how mzansi does things.

Hosted by eye candy and seasoned presenter Kat Sinivasan The Catch is a dating show unlike any other we’ve seen before. It follows eight single and hopeful women who are on a mission to find a suitable match to fall in love with, however, there is a twist: “Among them are eight sneaky impostors posing as eligible bachelors, ready to break hearts and steal the prize,” the Mzansi Magic website claims.

According to Mzansi Magic, this show is guaranteed to keep viewers on their toes and guessing at every turn, and the first episode is a testament to that. Viewers have taken to social media to debrief about the first offering and it appears we are in for quite a ride as episode one came swinging we have already seen some surprise eliminations and someone fainting.

The cast did not disappoint as it is filled with gorgeous ladies and handsome fellas, which makes for interesting TV as it will be much more difficult for them to resist each other.

Some internet users have revealed that the first episode has had them hooked and similarly to a drug addict, they will be impatiently waiting for next Sunday so Mzanzi Magic can give them their next dose. Although it is still early days, some viewers have already identified some contestants they believe are worth keeping an eye on as a favourites throughout the season.
