Veteran actress and multi-award winner, Brenda Ngxoli glows with praise as she will make a debut appearance on the cinema screens, with her recent movie, A Scam Called Love.

This local romantic comedy movie set to premier nationwide at Sterk-Kinekor and Nu Metro on the 7th of March 2025, boasts a star-studded cast that includes Didintle ‘Didi’ Khunou, Thando Thabethe, Trevor Gumbi and Tobi Bamtefa among others.

A Scam Called Love is set against the backdrop of an ambitious chef from South Africa, who enters a green card marriage with a cash-strapped line cook from Atlanta. The couple journeys to Cape Town to gather proof of their relationship, only to find that deceiving the government is easy compared to fooling your own family.

Filled with joy and pride, Brenda who is renowned for roles she played on Home Affairs, The River and The Queen to name a few recently took to her Instagram page to share her new milestone in over 20 years in the industry. In her caption, she exclaimed that finally she made it to the big screen in cinemas, and highlighted that all happens in God’s time.
