Social media is currently in a frenzy as popular Johannesburg nightclub Zanzou becomes the latest target of a shocking expose after a former employee revealed some hair-raising details about what he witnessed during his tenure.
Businessman Stephane Cohen came under fire a few months ago after it was revealed that his Babel restaurant was guilty of ill-treating and underpaying their staff members, resulting in countrywide backlash directed at his business. Stephane has found himself in hot water again as disturbing details about what the security detail at his Zanzou club in Johannesburg did to patrons who failed to settle their bills.
According to former Zanzou bouncer Pablo, he had worked in the industry for seven years and knew the ins and outs of the atrocities committed by some of the employees at the establishment. He went on to expose the involvement of figures such as Neo Moela in this apparent criminal enterprise.
The videos reveal some disturbing and illegal acts committed against customers who could not pay their bills in full. This includes the acts of sexually assaulting them by forcing them to insert things like glass bottles up their rectum, as well as subjecting them to extreme waterboarding.

In an effort to clear his name, Stephane Cohen took to his social media to refute the claims of his involvement with Zanzou, expressing that he currently has no affiliations with the establishment as his involvement ceased years ago. He urges citizens and media outlets to report on facts as these lies could have dire consequences for him and his businesses.
Zanzou also came to their social media pages to condemn the actions carried out by their staff members, revealing that an investigation was carried out after they became privy to the situation and have since fired the individuals involved, and have since outsourced the security services to a different company.
Furthermore, the establishment reveals that they will be taking legal action against Pablo as he sought to.

This situation has garnered a quick response from South Africans as some, including EFF members, have taken to the establishment to demand answers and proper action to be taken against everyone involved. The call to shut Zanzou down grows stronger by the minute as users claim they have had enough of powerful businessmen such as Neo and Stephane who often abuse the law with no consequence.

Boycotting and distancing yourself from Zanzou alone is not enough.
You need to boycott Louis, Montana, Opera, Sumo, Coco, Goldbar, Souk, Moloko, Drama, Babel and Uncle Faouzi’s. All those entities are owned or co-owned by Stephan and/or Rani.
