South African internet users want answers as they have been left confused and concerned after musician Dr Malinga made headlines for his latest addition to his car fleet. These users inquire whether the funds they donated to the artist financed his latest buys.
A few years ago, Dr Malinga admitted to facing financial difficulties and received generous donations from mzansi to help him get back on his feet. However, after making headlines for allegedly misappropriating funds meant for popular social media personality Tsekeleke, Dr. Malinga has raised eyebrows once again by purchasing not one, but two brand-new luxury vehicles.
Accomplishments such as buying a new car are usually met with much excitement and jubilation for South African celebrities and notable personalities, however, the flamboyant artist Dr Malinga has garnered some mixed reactions after internet users found out that he recently bought himself and his wife each a new set of wheels. This comes after internet users made significant donations to the ‘Asilali’ hit-maker after he revealed he had been struggling financially in 2022.

Users were shocked but excited to find out that Dr Malinga dug deep into his romantic bag to surprise his wife with a unique Valentine’s Day and anniversary gift in the form of a luxurious Mercedes G-Wagon. However, it was a few days later when he revealed he had also gotten himself a BMW M4 to compliment his wife’s new wheels that internet users began to show less excitement and more concern over the musician’s spending, and the source of these finances.
