Mzansi, Big Concerts wants to know which you’d choose: Adele vs Billie Eilish concert?

Popular entertainment agency Big Concerts known for promoting major international artists has been responsible for some of mzansi’s biggest entertainment events. They have posed a pertinent question to SA citizens: Adele or Billie Eilish concert?

South Africa has truly become the ultimate concert destination for international superstars as we have seen the likes of Kaytranada, Snoh Allegra, Ayra Starr, JP Cooper and Busta Rhymz gracing some of our stages with their presence.

After putting together impressive shows such as Chris Brown’s South African leg of the highly popular Breezy Bowl, it appears Big Concerts has their eyes set out on landing another major international artist to bring to a non-comparable mzansi crowd. In a now-deleted post, Big Concerts took their social media, the entertainment agency gave their followers a chance to vote on who they would love to see live in concert between new-school American pop sensation Billie Eilish and the veteran ballad-producing Adele.

This post quickly garnered some attention as the millennials and Generation Z could not come to a consensus about who the ideal performer would be between the two heavyweights. On one end, it is a no-brainer for millennials to choose Adele, as not only does her extensive catalogue of chart-toppers speak for itself, but bagging an Adele concert outside of her home country is almost impossible as she is said to be on a hiatus. On the other hand, the younger generations revealed that it would be a lifelong dream for Billie to come perform on South African shores as she is currently one of the most popular artists in the world.
