The viewers of the renowned reality show, Big Brother Mzansi are over the moon with the eviction of three housemates who were dubbed as the bandana boys from the show.

The celebration started when Siyabonga ‘Swiss’ Mlangeni was dethroned by the reigning Head of House (HOH), Karabo Sejojo, better known as Jojo in a HOH challenger game. This led to a negative domino effect with four of them finding themselves being at risk of being evicted.

This turn of events led to the eviction of Luzuko Mashalaba, Abongile Mhambi known as Ezra and Sipha Lee born Sphamandla Mthembu.

The trio alongside Mmelesi ‘Melino’ Mothei and Swiss who are still in the house, were known as the notorious bandana boys, this was due to them always wearing bandanas in the house and their American-like English accent.

The bandana boys were known to be a group of friends in the house who look out for each other, it was also known that if you argue with one of them you will argue with all of them. Which came across as bullying and toxic masculinity for some of the viewers and housemates.

The gang is also known to be competitive, with two of them winning the HOH title. With the recent HOH powers that were vested in Jojo to save one of the nominated housemates, she surprised many by saving Mandy Hagan leaving her beaus, Ezra and Luzuko who were later evicted in the cold.

Their eviction brought joy to some of the viewers who did not hold back while sharing their thoughts.
