Bloubergstrand in Cape Town is renowned for its magnificent ocean views. Several restaurants in the neighbourhood provide guests with a panoramic picture of the Atlantic while they dine.

From casual beachfront cafés to seafood grills, there is no shortage of options for those seeking a delicious meal paired with a stunning vista. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor to Cape Town, dining at one of the restaurants in Bloubergstrand is an experience not to be missed.

Eden Café

The Eden Café is a beach bistro situated in Big Bay with a stunning view of Robben Island and Table Mountain. Diners can enjoy watching the views while indulging in freshly prepared meals.

The café is fully licensed and offers a range of wines, beers and ciders, as well as classic and unique cocktails at sunset. Guests can also try warm beverages prepared by trained baristas.

Ons Huisie

Ons Huisie is a heritage site in Bloubergstrand, and now houses a traditional restaurant that is internationally recognised.

Ons Huisie offers spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island and serves delicious traditional West Coast cuisine. The restaurant is dog-friendly and has a large children’s playground with childminders on hand, allowing parents to enjoy a light lunch with friends while their kids play in a safe environment.

  • Times: Monday to Sunday, 9 am to 9 pm

On the Rocks 

On the Rocks is a popular seafood restaurant located in the heart of Bloubergstrand, Cape Town, diners can enjoy their meals while taking in the breathtaking views of the ocean and Table Mountain.

The restaurant serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, as well as a selection of meat and vegetarian options, ensuring there is something for everyone.

Doodles Beachfront

Boasting one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Table Mountain and the surrounding bay, Doodles Beachfront is a must-visit spot for food and wine lovers looking for a great atmosphere in Cape Town.

The restaurant exudes a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, with live music, an extensive menu of mouthwatering meals, and a great wine list.

Catch 22 Beachside Grill and Bar
