Silent Events is stringing its bow for a Silent Disco at The Lawns at The Roadhouse, which boasts one of the most spectacular collections of views in Cape Town.
With secret gardens, cosy terraces, and a breathtaking ocean view, it’s a restaurant experience that brings it all together like no other location close to the CBD, making it perfect for our celebration of love and new experiences.
This isn’t your usual silent disco—this year, Silent Events, is cultivating love and new friendships.
Undecided or open to possibilities? Wear amber, yellow, or gold.
If you’re off the market completely, wear some red accents.
Three DJs, three music channels, and, for Valentine’s Day, the event has added two more limited channels for those looking for a different experience entirely.
One of those channels will be broadcasting ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) to your ears.
The other channel will be dedicated to readings of sensual, beautiful erotic poetry, encouraging romantic, genuine connections.
The special Silent Events headsets are provided for you at the event and are included in the ticket price.
They only work with our Unique Transmitter System though, so please be sure to return them once you’ve found your true love!
With the silent disco, there’s something for everyone.
Each attendee has access to three audio channels they can swap between at their discretion with a unique set list to get you in the mood to move.
Blue channel: Chelsea Ann
Prepare to be swept off your feet by the allure of Chelsea Ann, the electrifying artist behind the enchanting sounds of Holy Funk.
Red channel: MR. LOVING
Meet MR. LOVING, the vibrant nomadic DJ from Dallas, Texas, who has been spreading his love-infused sound across the globe. Bursting into the scene in 2024, he curates an irresistible blend of House, Nu-Disco, Funk and Tropical vibes, all inspired by his travels to over 50 countries.
Green channel: DJ Mafaku
Introducing DJ Mafaku, a fresh force in the Cape Town music scene whose deep house passion will leave you breathless. With electrifying evenings filled with energy at Living Room and Tiger’s Milk, and remarkable performances at Bazique, Mafaku brings her confident beats to every corner she touches.
The event will take place on 15 February 2025, with music starting at 7 pm.
The music will be pumping until 10 pm, giving attendees enough time to get back home with their new love.
