After wrapping up an extremely successful 2024 that was characterised by successful streaming numbers, various sold-out shows and overall impact, Sjava, born Jabulani Hadebe has released his long-awaited ‘Inkanyezi’ EP, giving the people what they have been longing for.

2024 not only saw the release of the deluxe version of his highly popular ‘Isibuko’ album but also marked a pivotal moment in Sjava’s career as he connected with his fan base by prioritising his ‘Isibuko Tour’ and ‘2016 Tour’. This allowed him to establish himself as one of Mzansi’s most enjoyable live acts. That, coupled with his music that has proven to resonate with a diverse audience both locally and internationally, has made the Bergville native a big contender in any music-related conversation taking place in the country.

Using the momentum from this, Sjava has that his highly anticipated ‘Isibuko (LIVE)’ EP has finally dropped for his fans to feast on, as this is his first offering since his last album in May last year, not counting his smash-hit collaboration with Usimamane ‘Uvalo’.

It appears this man can do wrong in his fans’ eyes, as they have given Sjava his flowers and dubbed the EP as a certified banger in the short space of time that it has been out. The live element adds a sort of authentic feel to the project, as the band accompanying him does an exquisite job of highlighting his unique artistry.

Internet users have not wasted time debriefing after giving the project a listen, with some admitting that they are having a difficult time deciding which of the songs is their favourite, as they all seem to be hitting the spot in every way. Some have gone to the extent of dubbing him one of the best artists in the country.

Sjava… he has to be the greatest artist in the country.
