The controversial blogger, Musa Khawula will remain jailed for another week before he can apply for bail.

The self-proclaimed “Pope of pop culture” known for bashing celebrities on the social media platforms recently appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court for his crimen injuria and contempt of court case.

News24 reported that National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwane revealed that the state was ready to proceed, but the defence requested a postponement.

“The state was prepared to proceed with the bail application; however, the defence requested a postponement, stating that they needed additional time to prepare a comprehensive statement,” said Phindi.

ENCA reporter, Slindelo Masikane took to her X (formerly Twitter) to share Phindi’s report.
