Mzansi Magic’s highly popular ‘The Mommy Club’ is set to return for its highly anticipated third season, however, it appears viewers have some strong feelings about the revelation of some changes that are set to be made.

The Mommy Club is a reality show that follows some of Johannesburg’s most affluent and ‘momfluencers’ as they navigate life as they take up various avenues as mothers, entrepreneurs, wives and much more. The show became an instant hit when it first aired in 2023 as it was a unique and captivating concept allowing the public to get a glimpse into the lives of some interesting individuals who had potential star power.

The show has revealed that this upcoming season is coming with the same heat, however with a few changes made with the cast. The season will see significant ca members such as Ratile Mabitsela and Nunurai making an official exit from the show, while the fan favourite Mrs Mops along with Nozipho Ntshangase will be returning merely as friends of the show, and will not be making regular appearances.

Fortunately for long-time viewers, controversial figures Happy ‘Her Majesty’ Simelane and Mrs Tshego Mantshe are set to make a return and bring their fiery and charismatic personalities that viewers have come to love. The two will be joined by Mrs J, Pheladi, Noksie, and Vuyi, who are four new dynamic personalities who are set to pick up from where the others left off and provide mzansi with peak entertainment.

“These fresh faces will join returning stars Hermajesty and Mrs Sande, as well as friends Mrs Mops and Nozipho Ntshangase for an explosive season where luxury, power, and personal rivalries collide like never before!” Showmax states.

Viewers of the show have expressed concern and dissatisfaction with the announcement of the exit of their favourite mommies, with some revealing that they too would not be returning to tune into the new season. These users appear to be sceptical of the new cast members and are unsure whether they will bring the necessary mayhem that the show has become notorious for.
