Actor, Mathews Rantsoma will grace the screens again with a role he will be portraying on Showmax’s Adulting.

Mathews was first introduced to mzansi with the role of Nhlamulo Maseko on eTV’s Scandal! where he played alongside Nomvelo Makhanya as his wife, Lindiwe Maseko. The role saw him become a fan favourite and had mzansi emotional when he was killed on the show.

This time he will be assuming a new character where he will be working with Eric AKA Tsiki Tsiki who is played by Nhlanhla Kunene as a mechanic at the workshop as shown in the show’s trailer. Another addition to the show is Pasi Koetle who is known for her character on Scandal!

The duo joins the likes of Thembinkosi Mthembu, Luthando BU Mthembu, Londeka Sishi and Nandi Nyembe among others. In the third season, which also serves as the last season of the show, the characters are more mature and wiser. Bonga is a newly married man, Mpho is fresh from a divorce, Vuyani is about to open his dream nightclub, and Eric is trying to make a 9-5 car service centre job work, with a boss.

Adulting is set against a backdrop of four friends who go through the hoops of life, love and everything else. Set in Johannesburg, the show explores the universes of four varsity friends. Their strong bond has held them together even as their journeys in life have taken them in very different directions.

The final season of Adulting is set to premiere on the 25th of January, with new episodes every Wednesday.
