After excelling in the academic and corporate world, Professor Momokgethi Phakeng has proven that the sky is the limit as the self-proclaimed fab academic is now dipping her feet and excelling in the agricultural sector.

It is safe to say that the Chris Brown concert saga is a thing of the past for Prof Phakeng, a time when she found herself defending her morality and activism to some members of the public who had called her out for hypocrisy. In the spirit of keeping on, the former BONA cover star has put her farmer hat on and is sharing every moment of it with her followers and supporters.

Taking to her social media, Mamokgethi has given her followers a glimpse of what life for her has been looking like lately, and it involves a lot of time spent on the farm. The beginning of the week saw her getting her hands dirty on the tobacco fields and later moved on to dealing with the livestock and included some fishing on her itinerary.

Although she admits that the work is tiring, she also reveals that it is a fulfilling way to spend her time as she gets to reap the rewards of her work and nourish more than just herself.

Mamokgethi’s recent endeavours have inspired many across multiple social media platforms, as users express their own desire to break into the agricultural space. They reveal that Mamokgethi has lit a fire under them to pursue these dreams. Furthermore, these users express admiration towards the Prof as they commend her for smartly investing her wealth, in sectors where people who look like her (black and female) are not given the same respect and courtesy as others.

I am motivated ! This is what we are talking about when we say beauty with brains ?
