Late actor Mpho Sebeng wins post-humous award at SAFTAs

The 18th South African Film & Television Awards celebrated the talent and hard work of entertainers and actors in the industry, recognising many deserving performers.

Among those honoured was the late Mpho Sebeng, who was awarded Best Supporting Actor in a Telenovela for his role in SABC 3‘s The Estate.

Throughout his career, Mpho was known for his roles in Ring of Lies, Miseducation, Savage Beauty, Ingoma and the newly released series 016FM.

His award stirred heartfelt emotions online, with many expressing sadness that he could not experience this recognition while alive. Here are some of those reactions:
