
Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku, the talented actress and singer known for her role as Sihle Biyela in the hit Showmax series Outlaws, has officially announced her departure from the show ahead of its second season.
In a heartfelt post shared on X (formerly Twitter), she expressed her gratitude and love for the cast, crew and fans who supported her journey on the show.
“We just received a heartfelt message stating I would not be returning to the renewal of Outlaws, Season 2,” Nirvana began.
She went on to thank her fans for the immense love and support she has received, stating, “ It was an honour to have worked with such a stellar cast and crew and such a gift to have been able to showcase my talents on such a huge platform with a story of depth and richness, connecting with our South African audiences in a profoundly touching & unique way.”

In a Q&A interview with The Citizen, Nirvana opened up about her journey portraying Sihle in the Showmax Original hit drama Outlaws. The actress shared insights into her connection with the character and her experiences on set.
When asked what attracted her to the role, Nirvana revealed that she immediately resonated with it upon reading the script, describing it as the story and character her “soul yearned to play and tell.” She was particularly drawn to Sihle’s complexity, explaining that she represents a well-rounded view of what it means to be a Zulu woman, deeply rooted in community and truth.
