Prices at Kabza’s Piano Hub stir mixed reactions from the public

by Sergio Miller

The opening of award-winning musician Kabza De Small’s Piano Hub has officially taken place this week with several big names having been in attendance.

The event was highly anticipated among many of his most devoted fans. Earlier this year the renowned creative whose real name is Kabelo Motha revealed that there was a setback in the opening of the launch – this was due to the delays in the building process causing the opening to be halted.

At the time he wrote: “We understand the anticipation surrounding our opening and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Rest assured; we are working diligently to ensure everything is in place for a successful launch. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to PianoHub.”

Since then, swift work was done to see his dream materialise, and this saw the amapiano’s epi-centre being launched on 23rd September supplying visitors with a star-studded lineup of artists that included Kabza and friends such as DJ Maphorisa, Grammy award winner DJ Black Coffee – and the American rapper Busta Rhymes was spotted at the event as well.

While entertainment may not have been a shortage on the night of the launch, social media users later took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their shock at the expensive prices of beverages.

Many claimed that the prices were ridiculously high for the average person wanting to attend.

Not all agreed with these statements though as others felt that the prices were reasonable.
