BBM winner Mpho Wa Badimo mourns her mother’s passing

Big Brother Mzansi winner Michelle Mvundla, popularly known as Mpho Wa Badimo shared a heartfelt tribute after losing her mother.

BONA’s 2023 cover star and mother of two took to Instagram to announce the passing of her mother, Elizabeth Nonjebo Mvundla. In a statement released on the app, she revealed that her mother’s passing was due to a short illness.

She captions, “With heavy hearts and deepest sorrows on behalf of the Mvundla family, we are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Elizabeth Nonjebo Mvundla. Our mother was everything to us and we can never forget who and what she was in our lives as a matriarch. Although right now our hearts are heavy with indescribable pain, we are hopeful that the sun will rise again and we will learn to live with the pain of losing our mother.”

Mpho later thanked everybody for their immense support during this difficult time and the funeral home for giving her a dignified send-off.

In 2022, Mpho won the grand prize of R2 million where Gashwen Brandon ‘Gash1’ Mthombeni was the runner-up for that season. She also featured in Themba ‘Broly’ Mabaso’s reality TV show, Themba: My Inked World.

Taking to Instagram, users shared their condolences for the reality star.

One user commented: “Sending love and strength to you and your family during this tough time. My deepest condolences.”

Another user said: “Oh Mpho, my sincerest condolences.”
