A music executive, who wished to remain anonymous, told TshisaLIVE that Mapaputsi has made significant progress in his recovery, despite false reports from some media outlets. The source confirmed that Mapaputsi can walk and talk without pain and is in Durban for fresh air.

“Sandile has improved, he can walk, and he can talk without feeling pain, he is in Durban for fresh air. I’m happy to see him in this condition as he is showing signs of being optimistic that he’ll be up and running again,” said the anonymous.

In addition, the Kwaito star’s manager, Busi Kunene also shared with the publication that while she has not confirmed his whereabouts recently due to her busy schedule, she is pleased with his improvement as she had visited him.
