Well-known amapiano DJ and producer Dj Maphorisa has the internet streets talking after his latest designer shopping spree. The controversial artist is trending for his extravagant display of his wealth during his visit to the popular brand store ‘Amiri’.

This is not the first time Madumane trends for displaying his wealth in this manner as the artist has made a habit of doing so. The video of him at the Amiri store quickly went viral. He can be heard flaunting “I will hurt you my boys, you guys must come to me. I’m the boss of Amiri. After Black Coffee, it’s me. You are my kids when it comes to Amiri.”

Unlike usual, the video garnered mixed reactions with a majority being negative. This comes after the popular producer recently made headlines for a massive debt he owes Sony Music, as well as not paying fellow artists their dues.

Furthermore, some users corrected him and claimed Oscar Mbo to be the real ‘king of Amiri’ after the ‘Horns in the Sun‘ hit-maker closed down the store for the public to shop comfortably.

Popular X (formerly Twitter) user Chris Excel said this:

Despite any backlash, Dj Maphorisa continues to live and dance to the beat of his own drum. He has consistently portrayed an unfazed and lax attitude towards any controversy or negativity thrown in his direction.
