In a bold move that has set the internet abuzz, social media user @queenthatso recently posted a TikTok video that has quickly gone viral. The video, which features the tit tok user burning a pair of high-end designer sneakers DRIP.

In the video, @queenthatso is seen putting the sneakers on fire and captioned the post, “Let’s stop buying drip.”

This is after it was reported by Sunday World that a Johannesburg-based company has filed for the liquidation of Drip Footwear. The company claims that Drip Footwear owes over R20 million and is unable to meet its financial obligations.

Alongside the liquidation request, Lekau Sehoana’s estranged wife, Lebogang Sehoana has publicly shared her experiences and allegations on the Madam Speaker’s podcast. She discussed their relationship, their early struggles and her efforts to support their business.

According to ZiMOJA, Court papers reveal that the sheriff repossessed several items from Lekau’s home in Fourways. Among the items taken were a white four-piece lounge suite, dishwasher, Samsung TV set, a nine-piece dining suite, washing machine, Samsung fridge, a three-piece garden suite and an Esther Mahlangu painting.

In the comments section, reactions to the video varied widely. One user remarked, “You’re burning your money; you’re not punishing Mr. Drip.” Another user commented, “Such drama is unnecessary. Lekau must also come on the podcast—his version and the truth need to be heard.”

Meanwhile, a third user stated, “After the interview with Drip’s wife, I support you. I won’t buy it.”
