Adidas Originals ambassador and Cape Town-born rapper Odwa Situma, who is more popularly known by her rap alias Dee Koala is set to host her 4th annual ‘4 the Khaltsha’ festival event. The highly anticipated event is set to take place in Zone 6, Soweto in September.
The Khayelitsha native came into the limelight after releasing her hit song Whuzet which caused waves in the hip-hop space as her ability to ride the beat interchangeably using her mother tongue, isiXhosa and English. This success quickly garnered the attention of some of hip-hop’s biggest names, such as the late Riky Rick.
Partnering with Section 9, the rapper brings her event to the city of gold for the first time after hosting it in her home town, the mother city.
Taking to her social media, the rapper has revealed the final line-up for her eagerly anticipated show, which includes names such as Shekinah, Nadia Nakai, Sizwe Alkaline and many more.
“4 The Khaltsha presents the phase two line up, tickets are currently available on @computicket,” the rapper captioned an Instagram post.

Fans and supporters of the rapper have more to look forward to as she revealed that she is also working on new music which will be released soon, although no specific dates have been provided. “See you at @zone6venue on the 28th of September, new music is on the way too!” Dee Koala says.
