
Back by popular demand- legendary actor Vusi Kunene will make a comeback on Generations: The Legacy to portray the iconic supervillain, Jack Mabaso.
The fan-favourite villain known for his leather glove on the right hand, will make an appearance on screens from the 14th of August. Vusi will return for the third time on the show after his recent last appearance which was on the 12th of May in 2021.
Speaking on Jack’s return Executive Producer, Mfundi Vundla said in the statement issued: “Vusi Kunene is one of the truly great actors! He will continue to heighten the standard of entertainment television in South Africa and beyond, reminding us of the iconic status of Generations,” said Mfundi.
Casting Director, Russel Savadier said, Vusi’s re-entry into the show is expected to keep viewers glued in their seats.
“One of the great lingering questions on Generations: The Legacy is finally getting answered- ‘Is he dead or isn’t he?’ I’m as delighted as anyone that he is alive and well and returning dramatically on the show,” Russel said.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela shared the news of the return of Jack Mabaso on screens.
