Reality TV star and fitness trainer MJ Maponya recently took a leap of faith in his long-distance relationship, by proposing marriage to his girlfriend, now fiancée, Ipeleng Segolodi.
MJ took to his Instagram page to share beautiful snaps of his marriage proposal at the Four Seasons Hotel, The Westcliff in Johannesburg.
Captioning his post: “Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again, and with this ring, I choose to grow and overcome obstacles and difficulties with you for the rest of our lives. Thank you for choosing us (me and Moshibudi) we love you mommy.”
With this heartfelt post, the reality star shared pictures of his proposal, where he was on his knees while Ipeleng who is from Botswana was standing in front of him, donned a green long dress and high heels.

In another post that is captioned; “Grateful, Happy and Humble.” The lovebirds are standing by each other posing for the camera, with Ipeleng wearing her engagement ring.

The comment section of these posts was quickly filled with congratulatory messages from Instagram users who were happy for the couple.
According to TshisaLIVE, the pair have been dating for six months, but MJ said he knew in two months that she was the one.
MJ may be known for his appearances on reality TV shows such as Moja Love’s The Way Ngingakhona and Showmax’s Temptation Island. The reality show star shows growth as on both shows, MJ did not show interest in getting married as he depicted ‘playboy tendencies’.
