DJ Tira’s son, Tank receives backlash for dropping out of school for fame

The Showmax Original reality show, Born into Fame star and artist Junior Khathi, popularly known as Tank The Rockstar had internet users reacting to his decision to put school aside and focus on fame.

The reality show follows the lives of children with famous parents and how they navigate life trying to make a name for themselves in the industry.

In a recent episode on the reality show ,Tank who is the eldest son of DJ and record producer Mthokozisi Khathi (DJ Tira) from his first marriage, candidly spoke about his decision to return to school as he wanted to focus on his career. When asked about his academic journey by his manager and friend Khanya, Tank said that although he had the desire to go back to school he could not as it would clash with him pushing his career in the music industry.

Many X (previously known as Twitter) users took to the comment section to speak on Tank’s decision regarding school since he has a famous dad. Some internet users felt that he wanted to be just like his dad.
