It may seem like it’s raining cars at the Mahosana household, this is after Bongani Mahosana popular as Murdah Bongz recently announced a partnership with automotive company Volkwagen, which earned him another whip.
This despite being gifted a vintage car- AC Cobra for his 37th birthday by his DJ wife, Ntombezinhle Jiyane well-known as DJ Zinhle.
Recently, Murdah Bongz took to his Instagram page, to share a series of pictures where he can be seen standing with a VW car dealer in front of a VW bakkie while being handed car keys. In one of the pictures, he can be seen sealing the deal with a handshake.
Captioning this post, he said: “Thank you so much Garnish VW guy and McCarthy Volkswagen for the wheels. Looking forward to this partnership.

Recently it was reported that he and Black Motion reunited after a two-year public feud. Murdah and Smol; born as Roy Thabo Mabongwane have celebrated the reunion of their friendship by releasing a single named Takala Zwino.
The duo were a powerhouse in the Afro-house music scene since 2010, However, in 2022 Murdah decided to part ways with the group to pursue a solo career, leaving Smol in a state of uncertainty according to IOL.
The above entertainment publication reported that, the much-anticipated reunion of the duo was sparked by their song, Takala Zwino; which was released on the 10th of May. Featuring Afrikan Roots and Deejay Buckz, the song is testament to cherishing good times with good friends.
