In the life of reality television, where authenticity is often overshadowed by drama, Nozipho Ntshangase came to the show with genuine emotion and resilience during her time on The Mommy Club, with eight children and a decade-long marriage at the centre of her story.

Her journey as a devoted wife and mother of eight children captured the hearts of many, but mostly the revelation about her husband’s desire for a second wife drove her personal life into the spotlight of social media.

Now, in her interview with Showmax since the season’s reunion Nozipho shares the untold story behind the headlines, reflecting on her journey and her friendships with the cast.

Reflecting on her inaugural season with The Mommy Club, Nozipho describes it as demanding with longer hours than expected, yet she cherishes the experience and the opportunity to connect with new acquaintances. Watching herself on screen, she discovered the patient within herself that surpassed her previous expectations.

“It was long hours, way more than I expected, however, I enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to meet the new ladies[..] I realised while watching the show that I have a lot of patience in me, way more than I thought I did,” She said.

Despite her positive experience, she expresses regret for not fully engaging in conversations and interactions during filming.

Regarding friendships forged during the show, Nozipho highlights her close bond with Ms Manche, formed during diary sessions, and mentions relationships with Ratile, Happy, Mrs Mops, Nunurai, and Mrs Sande.

At present, her strongest connection lies with Ms. Manche among the cast members.
