How do you keep your look fresh in winter?
My secret throughout every season is to drink plenty of water to keep my skin hydrated. In winter you’ll have to double the intake because the air is so dry and there’s a very low level of humidity. Taking care of your skin starts from the inside and that’s what works for me.
Due to seasonal changes our make-up does not look the same between the seasons. Does your skin experience this and do you change your foundation in winter?
I am fortunate to have found what works for me so I don’t change my foundation. The foundation that I use is perfect for every season and was created to suit the South African climate. Revlon Colourstay in caramel is my shade.
What’s the beauty trend to look out for this winter?
Deep purple is the colour of the season and I have started experimenting with it.
What is your favourite lip colour for winter?
Red is a powerful colour, I’m a red lip girl. I wear it almost every day.
What beauty advice can you share?
Taking care of yourself starts from the inside. Be it health or your heart – a healthy diet and a happy heart will reflect on the outside.
