Rapper Maglera Doe Boy has clapped back at the social community for alleging that he has come out of the closet about being gay.

This comes after several pictures emerged online where the young musician can be seen warmly embracing some of his male friends with a hug and holding his hand.

In response to the rumours Maglera whose real name is Tokelo Moyakhe, took to the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to set the record straight.

In a post of his own, he wrote:

“No, my brother. What you are looking at is an auti who is secure about his masculinity, so much that he is not scared to embrace the people who love him.”

Bringing even more clarity on the picture in question he explained: “This image above your tweet is my friend Slash. He has been my friend since we were in primary school. He was a gangster and they shot him seven times two weeks ago.

“Is it also uncomfortable that I held his hand in the last image I took with him?” he asked.

He later addressed the topic of toxic masculinity explaining that people who have the saddest ends are usually fathers and big brothers who didn’t show love to their sons and younger brothers.

“They don’t even know how to tell the family they love them”

Meanwhile, following his responses X users remained divided on the sexuality of the rapper.

One user expressed his disappointment in the public.

Unfortunate that you had to explain yourself to another grown man, lying awake at night thinking about what you may or may not be doing with your private parts.

Another added:

sorry for your loss Maglera. stop explaining yourself to these folks. grieve your brother how u want to.

Meanwhile, others are not entirely convinced adding:

Holding hand? Dawg that’s some Diddy ish. ?? https://t.co/pDYVl3RSmH

Even if he was shot 20 times you holding hands like that doesn’t justify this
