Limpopo Artists Movement (LAM) has announced the death of comedian and presenter Kagiso ‘The Pope’ Ramoshai after a fatal car crash between Madiba Park and Legae La Batho.

According to SundayWorld, the LAM chairperson Mphoza Mashabela said, “It has learnt with shock and dismay of the passing of one of the province’s rising stars Psalmist Kagiso Ramoshai who was popularly known as ‘The Pope’, especially on social media”, adding, “Kagiso carved an inspiring name for himself starting from the humble beginnings of music recording, and radio broadcasting until he rose to prominence through the display of his many talents.”

LAM is an organisation that helps to give local artists in the province opportunities within the industry. The chairperson told the news publication that the late comedian was passionate about his craft and his love for God resonated with how he treated people within the organisation.
“Death has hugely robbed the Limpopo entertainment sector. We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and fans. May his youthful soul rest in eternal peace,” said the chairperson to the above-mentioned source.
Online publication MDN News posted the devastating news on X (previously known as Twitter) of the scene. Many users took to the comment scene to send out their condolences to the late comedian’s family.
