South African songwriter and rapper Mthembeni Ndevu professionally known as Emtee remembers his late best friend Lebo ATM Masangwayi who was also his manager.

Lebo died in 2021. Taking to his Instagram, the We Up hitmaker shared a picture of his best friend and wrote, “My best friend. You loved this car so much. I promised I’d buy you one. You quit your job to be my assistant. I was never late for interviews, shows etc.”

He added that they did everything together from praying, losing, and to having fun, he remembered he stuck with him since high school making sure that his vocals were good.

“We never ever argued or raise our voices to one another. Ever! We did so many pull ups on Niggas and you were front line. My road dawg,” he added.

He concluded his caption by assuring him that he will continue to make him proud and do his best to keep his name alive.

“Oh, Lebo man. He was so so sweet! I remember the unbreakable trio; Mthembeni, Lebo and ‘Baby’ as we called him. I can’t imagine losing someone as close as you were to him. Nxese maan (sorry man),” wrote another one.

Another one said: “Long Live Lebza. We were in Rustenburg together when you took the picture, homie was such a spark definitely.”
