Veteran actor Sello Maake kaNcube, as well as his wife Pearl Mbewe Maake kaNcube, are clapping back at naysayers commenting on the status of their marriage.
Rumours of divorce took the internet recently, with ZiMoja reporting that the actor is allegedly losing money too. It has also been alleged that the couple are going their separate ways due to Sello’s flirtatious nature.
While divorces can get messy, it seems Pearl had nothing but kind words to say about her partner. Neither confirming nor denying what the future looks like for them, Pearl shared the following about Sello on Facebook:
“You have been to me what the world will never even begin to understand. How I wish people could give you a break! In what may seem like me coming to your defence, the truth is being with you has elevated me to heights I never thought possible.”
What might be a hint at what the couple is going through, Pearl continued, “I’m sending you love and strength in this trying time of our lives. I will forever love you and your spirit shall and will remain unshaken. YOU ARE A GOOD MAN, father, son, and sibling.”
She concluded, “More than anything, you have been a beautiful and wonderful husband. Love, Mpho ya hao!”
The former Scandal! actor reposted his wife’s post and commented, “It’s sad how people are so quick to judge! After all the bad comments and insults, the truth shall set us free! I have always and will always honour my position as a man and husband.”
