South African actor, songwriter and rapper Jabulani Hadebe professionally known as Sjava opens up about his love life on a podcast.

The multi-award-winning artist has spent many years not revealing any romantic relationship to the public, since his relationship with singer Lady Zamar.

In a podcast interview posted by news medium, MDN News, Sjava explained that he is afraid of falling in love because being in love is dangerous.

“Most of the time I run away from love, it’s like when I realise that I love a particular girl, I run because I am afraid,” he added.

Sjava then referred to a part in his song Confessions, that Yazi ngiyasaba ukukthanda, ngisaba ukuthi awungekhe undithande the way ngikuthanda ngakhona( I am afraid to love you, I am afraid you will not love me the way I love you), “That thing was not a joke, when I did Umqhele I was really in love.”

Same here, falling in love is scary business.

Very risky these days, especially after what happened.

Another one user wrote:

After what Lady Zamar did to him it makes sense…it’s really unfair that a man can lose everything over false allegations and women will walk free after lying
