One would have thought Big Brother Mzansi season four housemate Mpumi was single and looking to mingle after the country witnessed her love affair with a fellow contestant. However, the evictee is in a happy relationship with an understanding boyfriend.

Real name Harriet Mthimunye, viewers of the reality competition show saw Mpumi’s entanglement and intimate scenes with Jareed, who was also romantically linked to Liema.

While live on Instagram recently, Mpumi revealed to her fans that she was still in a relationship with her boyfriend, despite what was seen on television.

“As surprising as it is to a lot of people, my boyfriend and I are okay. I’m trying to move on, I’m trying to get married here,” said Mpumi, according to TshisaLIVE. “Before I left, we spoke about a lot of things. When you see me acting wild just don’t react. Don’t be surprised, my heart belongs to you and only you.”

The evicted housemate continued, “So more than anything, my boyfriend understands that that was a game and a person had to do what they had to do to survive because R2 million was at stake. My boyfriend is one of a kind more than anything.”

While Mpumi’s boyfriend was seemingly fine with her love triangle, Jareed was not too happy after later finding out Mpumi had a man in her life. However, during an interview, Mpumi maintained that she was honest about her love life outside the house.

“It was not even a secret that I had a boyfriend. If you don’t believe in something or Mpumi having a boyfriend does not sit well with you, why did you go ahead? … I was invited to this… Jareed was like, ‘I need more members to my church,’ and I was like I also want to pray so that was what was happening, I didn’t put myself in the situation.”
