South Africans are urging that the manager of the Limpopo-based entertainer Skomota should be dealt with.

This comes after Skomota’s road manager and friend Skhothane sa Pitiro blasted the manager, Moruti Wa Dikota in an interview they had with Limpopo podcast.

Skhothane explained that Skomota does not have a bank account, so all the money goes to the manager. This revelation had a lot of X, an app formerly known as Twitter, users upset and worried.

Skomota’s booking fee is said to be R90 000 and it is rumoured that he has made about R545 000 monthly since his fame.

One X user wrote that it is unfair for Skomota to be living poor whilst he has a lot of money with no access to it.

Another user wrote that Africans have no empathy:

Foolishness is raising expectations from a society that exploits mentally unstable people like skomota or abuse unsuspecting vulnerable women until they become toxic single mothers. This skomota story is evidence that Africans are monkeys. Empathy dololo pic.twitter.com/q9Uulq7vjk

Controversial X user @Chris_Excel wrote, “Samthing Soweto and Sir Trill are normal people. But they cried about being Robbed by Phori .. Now y’all act shocked when Skomota who has down Syndrome & Crèche certificate gets robbed his money.”

Another user urged people to help the entertainer:

Can someone please assist this guy Skomota if what is said here is true. Vultures are everywhere that is why some people wont prosper. pic.twitter.com/rZSycKiZUF
