Popular sangoma and deejay Gogo Skhotheni recently revealed on social media that she is a born-again Christian after giving her life to God.

Gogo Skhotheni, whose real name is Tumi Motsoeneng, is one of many celebrities who have embarked on this spiritual path. Other well-known personalities include rapper Boitumelo ‘Boity’ Thulo, comedian Tol A$$ Mo, musician Phelo Bala, and former Big Brother Mzansi season three winner Mpho Wa Badimo.

Taking to Instagram, Gogo Skhotheni shared a series of stories confessing her love for God, as reported by Fakaza News.

“It feels good to be born again,” she wrote in one of her posts, adding, “God today, tomorrow, and forever.”

Also describing God as her saviour, father, and protector, the deejay also noted, “God first before anything.”

Gogo Skhotheni did not denounce her role as a sangoma, as she wrote in a separate post that her gift remains.

Although she has also described herself as a child of God, the reality TV star also shared on Instagram that “God is testing the wrong woman,” referring to her 2-year-old son, Monde Jr. Shange, spending his second birthday in the hospital.

According to MDN News, Gogo Skhotheni stated: “@mondershange, you’ve been at that hospital bed ever since you know all the nurses, doctors, and cleaners. We are now planning your second birthday; you are still there. God is testing the wrong woman, son. I will forever love Him, and I will forever praise Him. Noma isimo singavumi.”
