If there is one thing that South Africans can pride itself on, it is that we are always ready to accept a challenge.
Mzansi recently had a good laugh when two, two-time world cup winning rugby players proved just how talented they can be if they were to consider a starting career outside of rugby.
This comes after fellow team mate Jesse Kriel recently had a sit-down interview on the Supersport program called Unplugged. Here he answered many of mzansi’s deepest burning questions when it comes to his life as well as his career.
While Jesse may have appeared to be quite confident in answering everything the fans wanted to know, he was later asked who of his teammates would be selected if he had to start a band.
To this the bok number 13 responded saying: “For entertainment I would choose Trevor Nyankane to be in charge of the dancers, he is just unreal. When it comes to singing, I would probably take a guy like Makazole Mapimpi. I would get Cobus Reinach on the drums, because he is just everywhere.
Following this he added that Eben would be on the guitar, Willie le Roux would be selected as the team manager and ultimately chose his captain Siya Kolisi to handle the PR.
“With PR and content Creation, I would probably get a guy like Siya involved. Siya is always good with that kind of stuff.”

Taking to the comment section many of his selected band members shared their thoughts.
Trevor commented: “@jessekriel15 haha, just know it is going to be lit. I mean the moves are going to be on fire, should I start putting moves together?”
To this Siya responded: “You don’t even need to asked twice. Show him our video from Saterday.”
The two humorous rugby players showed the rest of South Africa just exactly what they can look forward to should Jesse’s dream band materialise.
The Instagram video shows the duo busting some dance moves. In the caption Trevor wrote: “@jessekriel15 don’t start with me, definitely in there with the band. @Siyakolisi lets hit them with those throwaway moves we don’t even use no more. Just for a taste.”

The video was well received by the South African public as many embraced the prospect of this band coming to fruition.
