Former television talk show host and businesswoman Felicia Mabuza Suttle has always been ahead of time when it comes to trends and fashion, making her one of South Africa’s loved icons.

A television talk show pioneer, the mother of two has introduced mzansi to many firsts.

Her self-title talk show, The Felicia Show was the first talk show in mzansi with a live studio audience, something that was previously seen from the likes of Oprah Winfrey. She also made people fall in love with the pixie hairstyle that was popularly seen from international superstar such as Anita Baker and Aretha Franklin.

A lady with style, class and elegance, Felicia’s lifestyle had a lot of international influence.

Now living in Atlanta with her husband Dr Earl Suttle, the mother of two has been taking us a few years back with posts of some of the memorable episodes of her reality show and a few other personal things.

She also shared a picture of herself standing next to her red Mercedes Benz holding a personalised car registration plate written SUBTLF GP. She captioned her post:

“This was reportedly the first personalized car license plate in #Gauteng, or was it in #Mzansi? Miss this red baby!”

Seeing the post, one internet users asked if SUBTLE was an error as her surname is Suttle:

“Felicia Mabuza-Subtle. Was that a typo or you did it on purpose?”

Felicia responded with:

“Ha ha ha it was a play on “Felicia Mabuza-Unsuttle.” I wanted to tell people I can also be “SUBTLE!”

“It probably was the first in the whole of Africa,” added another user.
