RHOD’s Zama Ngcobo’s character disappoints internet users

by Bongiwe Mati

Former SABC1 presenter and now cast member of the most successful Real Housewives South African franchise, Real Housewives of Durban Zama Ngcobo has been causing a lot of stir on social media platforms since joining the cast.

The show’s cast includes members who have been with the show since its first season such as former Miss South Africa Sorisha Naidoo and businesswoman Nonku Williams. Fans who loved Zana Ngcobo were excited to see her return to the big screens but later changed their tune.

With eight beautiful and strong-willed women in one show, it is no shock that there would be misunderstandings.

On the latest released episode of the reality show, Zama can be seen rudely insinuating that Ameigh Thompson faked her hijacking something sensitive to Ameigh who shares that her kids were in the car with her when the hijacking happened, also noting that she was also assaulted.

Zama continued the subject even though she could see it wasn’t sitting well with Ameigh, claiming that the “streets were talking.”

After seeing the episode, internet users express their disappointment at the former presenter, commenting:

Zama is a Narcissist! How do u host someone only to insult her then say “I didn’t invite you”. You went as far as printing a name tag to mock ur guest..sies #RHODurban pic.twitter.com/u0szDKuom4

Zama is the new crazy this season and it’s weird because now Nonku looks normal ?? #RHODurban

Others compared Zama to Sane who was a villan in the last season and the least liked person by internet users.

If you are team Zama .. you need to check yourself…

She is giving me “Sane vibes” #RHODurban pic.twitter.com/OjVIMutP11
