Internet impressed by Siya and Rachel’s daughter speaking isiXhosa

During some quality family time, the Kolisis swapped a game of rugby for kicking a soccer ball which prompted Siya and Rachel’s daughter Keziah to utter a phrase in isiXhosa, something that left many social media users in awe.

In a video posted by the Springboks rugby captain on Instagram, Rachel, the couple’s son Nicholas, and Keziah are seen passing the ball to one another, with Siya presumably taking the video as his voice is heard in the background.

After multiple tries to request the ball from her brother, Keziah is then heard saying, “Khabi bhola. Nic, Khabi bhola (Kick the ball. Nic, kick the ball),” which gets a giggle from her father.

“Awww Kezi speaking in vernac,” said one social media user in Siya’s comment section.

Another person who found joy in Keziah’s request wrote, “Yes wena baby gal, khabi bhola.”

Others could also not help but comment on Rachel: “That cool first touch by Rachel took my breath away! I swear she could play if she wanted to.”

Some skills were certainly shown off in the video, even though Siya amusingly captioned the video, “We are not ready.”

The family is currently residing in Paris, France as Siya now plays for the French rugby union team Racing 92. Although, Rachel and Keziah recently left Paris and took a train ride to the city of London for a mommy-daughter day.

“A whole weekend of Kezi all to myself,” said Rachel. “Definitely going to try to do these more often with all my kids. So, so good.”
