A video of an altercation between Limpopo rapper Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke famously known as Shebeshxt with a person many believed was Mr Jazzi Q recently went viral, causing a stir on social media.

In the video, a man resembling Mr Jazzi Q, real name Tumelo Manyoni can be seen on looking angry, challenging the Ambulance hitmaker to a fight before the security removes him off the stage.

Mr Jazzi Q has however come out to say that the person in the video is not him.

Speaking to ZiMoja, the Woza hitmaker shared that he was woken up by calls and texts from people who had seen the video. Acknowledging a bit of resemblance with the guy in the video, he was quoted saying:

“That was not me in the video. I saw it on social media as well. I have a resemblance with the guy, but it was not me, fortunately,”

The publication also shared that Jazzi Q stated that he has met Shebeshxt before, as he was among the headlining acts at JazziQ’s homecoming event on the 16th December 2023.

When asked if he would ever work with Shebeshxt, Jazzi Q acknowledged how the industry needs Shebeshxt for music for diversity, he responded:

“I think his music is a breath of fresh air and is a representation of the different layers of music that exist in SA. He is great for the culture.”
