Black Coffee spotted at SONA ahead of injury

by Limpho Nonkonyane

Grammy award-winning South African DJ and record producer Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, popularly known as Black Coffee was spotted at the State of the Nation Address 2024 which was held in Cape Town last night. The annual event takes place every year and the President addresses the country about the plans for the upcoming year.

In early January the well-known DJ experienced an unfortunate event when his aircraft crashed in Argentina, and according to reports he sustained severe blows to his body. The DJ was seen wearing a neck brace and sitting next to his son Anesu whom he shares with his fashion designer ex-wife Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa whom he was married to for eight years.

At the SONA event, an X (previously Twitter) user took an overview footage of the DJ while he was on the phone talking to his son.
