Internet reacts to first episode of RHOD season 4

by Bongiwe Mati

The first episode of the much-anticipated Durban-based reality show, the Real Housewives of Durban came out, leaving internet users with so much to talk about.

The new season sees new faces Nqobile ‘Angel’ Ndlela, former SABC1 presenter Zama Ngcobo, Ameigh Sibahle Thompson added to the show while Annie Mthembu who has been part of the cast since season one and Mbali Ngiba who only joined for season three did not return.

Cast members Nonku Williams, Sorisha Naidoo, JoJo Robinson, Slee Ndlovu and Maria Valaskatzis returned to show us more of their glamourous lives.

After watching the first episode of the new season, internet users took to social networks including social media X formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts on the cast members.
Nonku as with all the other seasons was among the trending names with people sharing how she never filters her words.

Internet users shared:

Even though it was a first episode, others could pick up potential favourites.

Zama is so real in her diary sessions, she might just be my new favourite #RHODurban

#RHODurban Episode one:

I already like Angel?? If I called myself a baby doesn’t mean you should too, call my by my name!! I’m glad she voiced that out because if she let it slide they were gonna all call her the kid the entire time, it’s condescending and belittling.
