Zama Ncgobo makes a return to the TV screen

by Sergio Miller

Actress and presenter Zama Ngcobo is all set and ready to go as she makes her highly expected return to Mzansi’s television screens.

While the 39-year-old is no stranger to television, her latest adventure is slightly different to what she has experienced before.

This is because as of the 9th of February, she will be making her debut appearance in reality TV by joining The Real Housewives of Durban season 4.

Speaking about what the opportunity meant to her, she told news and entertainment publication, Daily Sun:

“It’s important that after I have done many things on TV like acting and presenting, I get myself on a reality show because I never did it before.

“I hope people will give me a warm welcome as they welcomed me in TV presenting, acting and radio presenting,’ she said.

The new venture marks a significant milestone for Zama. Her career in entertainment cuts through every avenue from presenting to acting and has no plans of slowing down.

When asked whether she is afraid of feedback she will receive for her character she responded saying not at all, adding that she learnt that she cannot control what people say.

“I have been in this industry long enough not to stress myself about public opinion.

“I’m only concerned about the elderly generation in my family because they tend to take what people say to heart and their feelings are more of my concern. They know me for acting, not me in reality shows,” she said.
